As a chef, scientist, and owner of Baobab Southern Kitchen, my work is guided by a deep respect for Southern culinary heritage and a curiosity that drives innovation. Growing up with the flavors, stories, and traditions of Southern cooking shaped not only how I cook, but why I cook. After earning my PhD and building a successful career in science, I chose to follow my true passion: creating meaningful food experiences that bring people together around the table. Our ongoing Supper Club Series is an extension of that vision. Each month, we curate a unique, seasonal menu that reflects both time-honored Southern techniques and inspired, modern influences, thoughtfully paired with the best ingredients our region has to offer.
